FASTA1C ("FASTA1C," "we," "us," or "our") provides a blood glucose tracking and estimated A1C tool for general informational, educational, and personal wellness purposes only. By accessing or using this website, application, or any related features, content, reports, emails, calculations, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge and agree to this Disclaimer.
1. Not Medical Advice; Not for Diagnosis or Treatment
The Service is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, medical care, or laboratory testing. Nothing on the Service should be interpreted as a recommendation regarding insulin, medication, supplements, diet, exercise, treatment protocols, or any other healthcare decision.
Always seek the advice of a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions regarding a medical condition or treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained through the Service.
2. Not a Laboratory A1C Test
Any estimated A1C, estimated average glucose, trends, ranges, or other outputs generated by the Service are approximations only. They are not equivalent to a laboratory hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c) test and should not be relied upon as a clinical measurement, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation.
The Service calculates an estimated A1C based on user-entered blood glucose readings and a mathematical conversion formula. Because the Service does not perform laboratory analysis and does not measure glycated hemoglobin, its outputs may differ materially from a clinical A1C test result.
3. Results Depend on User-Entered Data
The accuracy, usefulness, and reliability of any output generated by the Service depend entirely on the completeness, timing, frequency, consistency, and accuracy of the information entered by the user. Infrequent readings, selective entries, incorrect readings, outdated readings, user error, device error, or missing contextual information may produce inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete results.
You are solely responsible for the information you submit to the Service and for verifying any information before relying on it.
4. No Physician-Patient or Other Professional Relationship
Use of the Service does not create any physician-patient, clinician-patient, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship between you and FASTA1C or any of its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, or service providers.
5. Not for Emergencies
DO NOT USE THE SERVICE FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES OR URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or contact your physician, local emergency services, or the nearest emergency room.
6. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FASTA1C DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE.
Without limiting the foregoing, FASTA1C makes no representation or warranty that any estimate, result, trend, classification, or output generated by the Service is clinically accurate, medically valid, or appropriate for your circumstances.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FASTA1C AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PERSONAL INJURY, WRONGFUL DEATH, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, MISUSE OF, OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE OR ANY OUTPUT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
